A little grain, a little glow

Choose a seasonal film, then tap the sparkle button beside the film strip to open Effects. Each effect switches on or off.

Contrast: Adds separation between light and dark.
Vignette: Gently darkens the edges to draw attention toward the center.
Halation: Adds a soft glow around bright highlights.
Grain: Adds film-like texture to the image.

Neutral bypasses all four effects. Your seasonal effect preferences are kept for when you choose a film again.

Keep the look you see

The selected film and effects are applied to saved photos and videos. Choose them before you shoot; the finished capture already includes the treatment.

All four seasonal films, Neutral and the effects are free. The Neutral and Brass camera finishes change the controls’ appearance, independently of the film you select.
