Open Analogish from your lock screen

Your film camera, a touch away.

Add Analogish to your lock screen

  1. Open the wallpaper editor

Wake your iPhone, unlock with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode, and touch and hold the lock screen.

  2. Customize the lock screen

Choose the wallpaper you use, tap Customize, then choose Lock Screen.

  3. Make room for your camera

Tap the minus button on one of the two controls at the bottom, such as Camera or Flashlight.

  4. Choose Analogish

Tap the empty control slot, search for Analogish, and select its camera control.

  5. Save and try it

Tap Done. Return to your lock screen, then touch and hold the Analogish control to open the camera.

The control is tied to that lock screen wallpaper. Repeat the setup for any others you use. Apple’s lock screen customization guide.

Ready without opening the full app

Use the Analogish control you added to capture from the lock screen. Swiping left still opens Apple’s Camera. Tap the shutter for a photo, or hold it for a video.

iOS may ask you to unlock when continuing into the full app. For video sound, grant Microphone access in the main app first; otherwise locked capture can record silently.

Two more ways to keep it close

Control Center

Open Control Center, touch and hold an empty area to edit, then choose Add a Control. Search for Analogish and add it. Apple’s controls guide.

Action button

On a supported iPhone, open Settings → Action Button → Controls → Choose a Control → Analogish. Press and hold the Action button to open the camera. Apple’s Action button guide.

Can’t find Analogish?

Check that Analogish is installed and up to date, and open the main app once before returning to the control picker. Confirm that your iPhone runs iOS 18 or later. Menu wording can vary with your iOS version and language.
